Wood effect vinyl wrap: sizes and material
Each colour has five sizes: 30 × 300, 40 × 300, 40 × 500, 50 × 300 and 50 × 500 cm (width × length). The areas covered are 0.9 m², 1.2 m², 2 m², 1.5 m² and 2.5 m². The material is vinyl (PVC) with an adhesive back.
The supplier does not state the thickness, so we do not write it. Measure the door or worktop before ordering and choose a width equal to or slightly larger than it: the edges are trimmed once the vinyl is in place. The pack contains one roll only: the supplier does not list any included accessories.
How to fit the self-adhesive vinyl
The supplier lists six steps: measure and cut, peel and stick, smooth, align the strips, trim the excess and, if needed, remove. The surface must be smooth, clean and dry: the supplier warns against applying it to rough or uneven surfaces.
Before you start, clean and dry the furniture thoroughly. Peel off the backing little by little and press with a soft spatula or a cloth, from the centre outwards, to avoid bubbles. An honest tip: the adhesive is made to stay, so removing the vinyl may take some paint with it or leave residue. Test on a small hidden area first.
White or black: the effect of the grain
White has a light, subtle grain, tone on tone, which gives the surface the look of lacquered wood. Black also has a tone-on-tone grain, visible as fine lines barely lighter than the background: in the photos it appears only on the two rolls. Both colours come in the same sizes.
The supplier warns that white vinyl should be fitted on light surfaces: on dark walls, worktops and furniture, the colour underneath may show through. The real colour may differ from the photo because of the light and the screen. If you join several strips, order everything at once.
Where to use the wood effect vinyl wrap
The photos show the white vinyl on wardrobe doors, on a built-in wardrobe in a bedroom, on a door, on a table top and on a wall. The supplier also recommends it for fridges, cooker hoods, tiles, windows and switch panels.
An honest limit: there is no data on heat resistance or on strong detergents, so avoid areas near hobs. On a flat door, whether a room door or a furniture door, fitting is easier; on surfaces with relief or panels the vinyl would follow the pattern. If you can, remove handles and hinges before covering a door: trimming the edges is easier that way.

Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose for a door or a worktop?
Measure the width and height and choose a roll with a width equal to or slightly larger. For two doors of 40 × 190 cm you need two strips of 1.9 m, that is 3.8 m: a 5 m roll is enough. If the surface is wider than the roll, lay several strips side by side and order everything at once so they come from the same batch.
Does white cover a dark colour?
Not completely. The supplier warns that white vinyl should be fitted on light surfaces: on dark walls, worktops and furniture, the colour underneath may show through. If the furniture is dark, the result will be uneven. In that case, it is best to cover it first with a light paint or choose black.
What is the difference between white and black?
Only the colour of the vinyl and its grain changes. The sizes are the same: 30, 40 or 50 cm wide and 3 or 5 m long. In the photos the white appears on furniture and walls, while for the black there is only one photo with two rolls: we have no images of black vinyl fitted.
Which surfaces is it suitable for?
Smooth, clean and dry surfaces. The supplier warns against rough or uneven surfaces. Clean well, dry, and wait for the paint to settle if the furniture was painted recently. On a surface with relief the vinyl would follow the pattern and might not stick well.
Can it be removed after fitting?
The supplier gives one step for removal, but does not say how many times it can be re-stuck or whether it leaves residue. The adhesive is made to stay: when you remove the vinyl it may take some paint with it or damage the finish of the furniture. Test a small piece in a hidden spot first.
When will my order arrive?
