Gradient tile stickers: size and material

Each pack contains 10 square stickers of the same model and the same size. The side can be 10, 15, 20 or 30 cm, which you choose with the variant. The material is PVC, with a thickness of at least 0.45 mm according to the supplier's infographic. The supplier gives weights for the set of 52, 130, 220 and 520 g, without saying which size each one corresponds to. As surface covered, the 10 pieces make about 0.1 m² with a 10 cm side, 0.225 m² with 15 cm, 0.4 m² with 20 cm and 0.9 m² with 30 cm, calculated without gaps between one square and the next. The surface is glossy and reflects light, and the supplier describes it as rigid, like a card.

How to fit tile stickers

The glossy face has a protective film that must be removed before use. Then peel the paper from the back and press the square onto the wall or tile, starting from one corner and pushing the air towards the edges. Clean and dry the surface well before you start: dust, grease or moisture reduce the grip. To keep the rows straight, draw a level line in pencil and start from there. An honest tip: a strong adhesive can take some paint off when peeled. On a rough or crumbling wall, the adhesion is weaker.

Eight gradient models: choose your colour

The models are numbered 1 to 8. In the supplier's photos, Model 1 is pink, 2 light blue, 3 lilac, 4 pinkish beige, 5 light turquoise, 6 blue-lilac, 7 green and 8 mint green. In each set the 10 pieces have slightly different shades: the gradient is part of the effect, and no two squares are identical. Because the surface is glossy, the colour shifts a little with the light in the room and may look different from the photos. Each pack has one model only: to mix two colours you need two packs.

Where to use tile stickers

The supplier lists them for tiles, walls, cupboards, fridges, tables, kitchens and bathrooms, also placed diagonally or in a strip across half the wall. The photos show them above the bathroom washbasin, behind the kitchen sink, in a strip along a living room wall and behind a piece of furniture. Choose a flat, smooth surface: on deep joints or raised relief the adhesive grips poorly and the result changes. For areas next to the hobs we have no data on how they behave with heat: keep the tiles away from flames and very hot surfaces.

How many sets do I need to cover a wall?

A set contains 10 stickers. With a 30 cm side they cover about 0.9 m², with 20 cm about 0.4 m², with 15 cm about 0.225 m² and with 10 cm about 0.1 m². To work out how many sets to order, divide the area you want to cover by the coverage of one set and round up, so you have a few spare pieces in case of mistakes when fitting.

Are all the colours the same within one set?

No. As the photos show, the 10 pieces in a set have slightly different shades, and the result is a gradient effect on the wall. We cannot guarantee an exact spread of shades, as the supplier does not state one. The real colour may also shift a little with the light in the room.

Can they be removed without damaging the wall?

The supplier describes the adhesive as removable, but we cannot promise that it leaves no marks: when peeled, it can take some paint with it or leave residue, especially on walls painted recently. Test in a hidden spot before covering the whole surface.

Can they be stuck on the floor?

The supplier's infographic says “For Wall & Floor”, meaning wall and floor, but does not say how well they withstand foot traffic and wear. That is why we present them mainly for walls and tiles. If you want to try them on the floor, start with a single piece in a corner that gets little traffic and see how it holds.

How do I choose the size of the square?

A 10 cm side gives a denser surface, similar to a mosaic. A 30 cm side covers more wall with fewer joins. The size changes the look and the area covered per set, while a set always contains 10 pieces. If you are unsure, first work out the square metres you want to cover.

When will my order arrive?
