Stick-on headboard: size and material
Each unit contains one panel. The 50 cm size measures 50 cm high and 20 cm wide, with the top edge rounded in an arch. The supplier gives no exact measurements for the 40 cm size, so we do not state them. The thickness is 3 cm. According to the supplier listing, the material is PVC; the photos show a smooth surface and a soft foam padding that gives way under finger pressure.
To work out how many panels to order, start from the width of the bed: with the 50 cm size, 20 cm wide, and the panels placed together with no gaps, a 160 cm bed needs 8 and a 90 cm bed needs about 5.
How to fit the padded stick-on headboard
The supplier describes a self-adhesive fixing: you press the back of the panel against the wall. Before you start, clean the wall and let it dry, because an adhesive grips better on smooth surfaces, free of dust and damp. Use a level to draw a horizontal pencil line at the same height for all the panels, and start from the centre of the bed and work outwards. Join each panel to the previous one, side by side, if you want a continuous surface. Press with the palm of your hand over the whole surface for a few seconds, pressing harder on the edges, because the soft padding absorbs some of the pressure. Remember that an adhesive can take some paint with it when removed.
Five colours and two sizes to build the headboard
The available colours are beige, light grey, pink, sky blue and yellow, all with a smooth surface. The beige is a cream white that goes well with light wood and neutral bedding; the light grey, in the photo, has a slight green tint. You can use one colour for a uniform headboard, or alternate two or three: pink, blue and beige together bring life to the wall of a nursery. You choose the colour panel by panel, and each colour is available in both sizes, 50 and 40 cm. The style remains Nordic: simple shapes, with no decoration.
Where to use the padded headboard
The main use is as a headboard: the panels placed together on the wall behind the bed replace a traditional headboard and make the wall soft to the touch. In nurseries they can also continue along the side of the bed that touches the wall.
Other ideas include a strip behind the sofa, the wall beside a desk, or a reading corner with an armchair. Light grey and beige give a discreet result in a double bedroom, while pink, blue and yellow are mostly chosen for rooms for children. The supplier states that the panel is not water-resistant: avoid bathrooms, areas near the sink and walls with condensation.

Frequently asked questions
How many panels do I need for a double bed?
With the 50 cm size, which is 20 cm wide, covering the width of a 160 cm bed takes 8 panels placed together, and a 180 cm bed takes 9. For a 90 cm single bed, 5 are enough. If you leave a few centimetres between one panel and the next, the number goes down.
What are the measurements of the 40 cm size?
The supplier does not state the exact measurements of the 40 cm size, and the photos show only the 50 × 20 cm panel. If you need the width to plan the arrangement, write to us before ordering: we will check with the supplier and reply with the exact figure.
Can it be removed without damaging the wall?
Not always. When removed, an adhesive can take some paint with it or leave residue, especially on walls painted recently. If you plan to change the arrangement often, stick the panels to a thin board and fix that board to the wall.
Can it be fitted over wallpaper?
Better not: the adhesive sticks to the paper and, if the paper peels away from the wall, the panel comes down with it. Fit the panels on smooth, painted, clean and dry walls. On rough render or embossed wallpaper the contact surface is reduced and the grip gets worse.
How do I clean it?
Remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. For small marks, use a barely damp cloth, well wrung out, with no harsh detergents, and let it dry. The supplier states that the panel is not water-resistant: do not wet it or use steam, which could reach the foam padding.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.
Can I return the product?
Yes: you have 30 days from delivery to return the unused product in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. All the details are in the return policy.
How can I pay?
You pay the full amount when you order, with the payment methods offered at checkout. We do not offer instalments or cash on delivery.
