Planets, moon and star sheets glowing green on a black background

Glow stars and planets: what is inside

The box contains 525 pieces. The large discs measure 12, 9, 7, 6, 6, 5, 5, 3 and 3 cm, plus Saturn with its ring, 11 × 5.2 cm. There is also an 11 cm moon, and the stars: 24 of 2.5 cm, 157 of 1.5 cm, 179 of 1 cm and 154 of 0.4 cm. The box measures 21 × 15 cm and is about 1.7 cm thick. The supplier's information about the material is unclear: it says PVC in one place and paper in another. The measurements were taken by hand and may differ slightly.

How to apply them and how they work in the dark

The stickers come on sheets: peel them off and apply them to the wall. The supplier describes them as easy to apply and remove, but does not state what kind of adhesive they use or how they grip on different surfaces. Apply them to a clean, dry, smooth wall, and test first with a star in an inconspicuous spot. In daylight they are light and coloured; in the dark they glow green. In general, glow in the dark materials glow more after exposure to light. The supplier does not state how long the glow lasts.

Planets, moon and stars: how to compose the sky

The arrangement is free. The large discs, such as the 12 cm Sun and Saturn with its ring, serve as reference points. The moon and the 2.5 cm stars are placed around them, while the 1 cm and 0.4 cm stars fill the gaps. In the photo on a white wall, the planets are lined up on a diagonal, with the moon above and the stars scattered. The supplier warns that colours may look different depending on the light and the screen.

Where to use glow in the dark stars on walls and ceilings

The photos show a wall and the ceiling of a room, in daylight and in the dark. The supplier suggests them for children's rooms and living rooms, and also for parties and events. With 525 pieces, according to the supplier, you can create a large mural or decorate several rooms. The smallest stickers measure 0.4 cm: keep them out of reach of small children until they are applied. On a ceiling, check from time to time that they are still firmly attached.

Frequently asked questions

Which planets are in the set?

The supplier mentions nine planets. The images show 10 large discs: the Sun, Saturn with its ring and other discs from 3 to 9 cm. There is no list of names, so we cannot say with certainty which celestial bodies all the discs represent.

How long do they glow in the dark?

They are glow in the dark stickers, and in the supplier's photos they glow green in the dark. The supplier does not state how long the glow lasts or how much light is needed to charge them, so we do not give a figure. In general, glow in the dark materials glow more after good exposure to light, then fade gradually.

Can they be removed without damaging the wall?

The supplier describes them as easy to apply and remove, but does not state the type of adhesive, and we cannot guarantee that they will leave no marks. On recent or delicate paint, some colour may come away. Test first with a star in a hidden spot.

Are they suitable for a children's room?

The supplier suggests them for children's rooms. The smallest stickers measure 0.4 cm and there are many of them, so keep them out of reach of small children until they are applied. There is no minimum age stated: an adult should apply them, high on the wall, and check from time to time that they are still stuck.

What material are they made of?

The supplier's information is contradictory: in one place it says PVC and in another paper. The photos do not show which one it is. That is why we do not give a single material: the pieces are printed adhesive stickers, supplied on sheets, with colours and shapes as shown in the photos of the set.

When will my order arrive?

Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.

Can I return the product?

Yes: you have 30 days from delivery to return the unused product in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. All the details are in the return policy.
