3D ceiling panels: size and material
The pack contains 20 identical panels. Each panel is a square of 35 × 35 cm and covers 0.1225 m², which is about 0.12 m²: the 20 pieces together reach about 2.45 m². The supplier warns that some panels may differ in length by less than 1 cm; when fitting them, keep the edges aligned and overlap any excess onto the neighbouring panel. The material is a soft polyethylene (PE) foam, with the pattern in relief on the visible face. The supplier does not state the thickness, so we do not write it.
How to fit ceiling panels
The back of each panel is adhesive and protected by a film. Before you start, clean dust and grease off the ceiling and let it dry well: the adhesive grips better on a smooth, clean surface. Start from the centre of the room, following a line drawn in pencil, peel off the film and press the panel over its whole surface, especially at the edges. Join the next one, matching up the pattern. For the last row and around the light fittings, trim the panels with scissors and leave space around spotlights and bulbs that get hot. Bear in mind that an adhesive can take some paint with it when peeled off.
White 3D ceiling panels: the effect of the diamond motif
In the centre of each panel there is a diamond with a raised scroll ornament, surrounded by a detailed surface. When the panels are joined, the motifs repeat and form a continuous diamond pattern, as on the wall behind the sofa in the photo. The relief creates small shadows: with light coming from the side, from a window or a wall lamp, the pattern reads more clearly; with front light it is more subtle. The plain white goes with light walls and with wooden or fabric furniture, and on a ceiling it leaves the room light.
Where to use ceiling panels and how many you need
The 35 cm format suits the ceiling of bedrooms, hallways and small living rooms; the supplier also suggests them as a wall backdrop, behind the sofa, the television or the bed. To work out how many panels you need, calculate the square metres of the surface and divide them by 0.1225, the area of a panel. A ceiling of 3 × 3 m (9 m²) needs about 74 panels, which is 4 packs; a hallway of 1 × 4 m (4 m²) needs about 33, which is 2 packs. Add a few panels for cuts at the edges and around the light fittings.

Frequently asked questions
Can they also be fitted on the wall?
Yes. The photos show the panels both on the ceiling and on the wall behind a sofa, and the supplier also lists them as a backdrop for the television or the bed. Fitting is the same: clean, dry surface, film removed and pressure over the whole panel. On a wall you can also stop halfway up and trim the last row with scissors.
How thick are they?
The supplier does not state the thickness and there is no dimension in the photos, so we cannot give you an exact figure. We know they are foam panels with the pattern in relief, 35 × 35 cm. If the thickness is decisive for your project, for example next to a moulding or a curtain track, write to us before ordering.
Do they reduce noise or hold up to damp?
We do not promise that. They are decorative foam panels and the supplier gives no acoustic measurements or tests on how they hold up to water. We advise against putting them inside the shower or in spots exposed to splashes and direct steam. To reduce the echo of a room there are acoustic panels, which you can find in another section of the shop.
Can they be peeled off without damage?
The supplier gives no guidance on how to remove them. When a panel is peeled off it may take some paint with it or leave glue residue, especially on a recently painted ceiling. Before fitting them, let new paint dry well; if you plan to remove the panels in future, test the grip first in a corner that is hard to see.
How do I clean them?
With a feather duster or a soft, dry cloth. The relief can hold some dust in the hollows: in that case a soft-bristled brush is enough. Avoid hard brushes and harsh detergents, which can mark the surface of the foam.
