Aged wood effect vinyl wrap: sizes and material

The roll is 45 cm wide and 1, 3 or 5 m long, depending on the variant. That equals about 0.45 m², 1.35 m² or 2.25 m². The material is vinyl (PVC), with a paper backing. The supplier gives a tolerance of 1-3 cm, because the measurements are taken by hand. If you order more than 1 m, the roll is not cut into 1 m pieces: it arrives whole and you cut it according to what you need. There may be creases at the ends from transport. The supplier does not state the thickness.

How to apply the self-adhesive vinyl

Clean and dry the surface well before sticking. Peel off only a few centimetres of the backing paper and start from a corner; then continue slowly, without removing all the paper at once. As you spread the vinyl, smooth it with your hand or a soft cloth to remove air bubbles. Measure the piece with a little margin and cut with a sharp craft knife. An honest tip: on a wall painted recently, the adhesive may take some paint with it when peeled off, so test first in a hidden spot.

The pattern resembles old wooden boards, with dark and light grain, some knots and warm brown tones. The supplier gives a single colour: “as in the photo”. The three variants change only the length of the roll, while the width stays at 45 cm. If you need several rolls, the supplier advises ordering them together, so they come from the same batch and there are no colour differences. The real colour may differ a little from the photos, because of light and screens.
