A roll of self-adhesive PVC vinyl with a wood effect grain, for renewing furniture doors, flat furniture panels, shelves and walls. Choose from six models, from white to black, passing through light wood, honey and greyish brown tones. Each roll is 40 cm wide and 1, 2, 3 or 5 m long. The back is self-adhesive, with a grid that helps you cut with scissors. Each order includes one roll only.

Wood effect vinyl wrap: sizes and material
Each variant is a single roll of PVC, 40 cm wide. The lengths are 1, 2, 3 and 5 m, so the covered area is 0.4 m², 0.8 m², 1.2 m² and 2 m². The print imitates wood grain: it is an effect, not real wood. On the back there are grid lines to measure and to cut with household scissors. The roll is wound onto an inner tube to reduce creases. The supplier gives a measuring tolerance of up to 2.5 cm and does not state the thickness.
How to apply the self-adhesive vinyl
The supplier gives four steps. Clean the surface of dust and debris, and cut the vinyl 10-15 mm larger than the surface. Then press the vinyl from the centre outwards, peeling off the backing paper slowly. If bubbles remain, the supplier advises pricking them with a needle or the tip of a knife. To separate the paper, a strip of adhesive tape on both edges can help, pulling in opposite directions. The surface must be smooth and dry; dusty, brick or unevenly textured walls are not recommended. On a painted wall, some paint may come away when you peel it off.

HXM and HXM 1 are two different models: one light and one dark. The colour on screen may differ slightly from the real one.
Where to use wood effect vinyl wrap: kitchen, furniture and walls
The photos show kitchen doors and worktops, a table and a roll next to thumbnails of a fridge, a cupboard and a white unit. The supplier suggests it for furniture doors, flat furniture panels, chests of drawers, bedside tables, shelves, ledges, doors and walls, in the living room, the study and the kitchen. On a worktop, bear in mind that the supplier does not state heat resistance: do not place hot pans on it and keep it away from flames and hobs. For wet areas there are no water resistance values.

How much vinyl do I need for a board?
Measure the area and add 10-15 mm. Example: a board of 60 × 200 cm, with the 40 cm wide roll, needs two strips of 2 m, the second for trimming, so 4 m: choose 40 cm × 5 m. A seam remains between the two strips. For a shelf of 20 × 100 cm, one 40 cm × 1 m roll is enough.
Is it real wood?
No. It is a printed PVC vinyl with a grain that imitates wood: the effect is purely visual. The title mentions boards, but in the photos the grain is continuous, with no joins between one board and the next. It is therefore useful for changing the look of a flat surface, not for replacing wood.
Can it be removed after fitting?
The supplier describes it as removable. We cannot guarantee that it will leave no marks: this depends on the surface, the time and how you peel it off. On painted walls some paint may come off. To remove it, pull slowly, without jerking, and test first on a hidden spot.
How do I avoid air bubbles?
Press the vinyl from the centre outwards, peeling off the backing paper slowly. If a bubble remains, the supplier advises pricking it with a needle or the tip of a knife and letting the air out. Do not remove all the paper at once: the vinyl becomes harder to smooth.
Can it be used on a kitchen worktop?
The supplier lists smooth boards among its uses. But it does not state resistance to heat, water or grease with figures, and we do not write them ourselves. Do not place hot pans on it, keep it away from flames and hobs, and clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, without abrasives.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.
