Pearlescent furniture vinyl wrap for cupboards: size and material
The vinyl is PVC with a glossy surface with a pearlescent sheen, in a single colour and with no pattern. The roll is 40 cm wide and 1, 3, 5 or 10 m long. A 1 m roll covers 0.4 m², a 5 m one covers 2 m² and a 10 m one covers 4 m².
The supplier does not state the thickness, so we do not write it. Measure the surface before ordering and choose a roll a few centimetres larger, so you can trim the edges. For doors wider than 40 cm you need two strips side by side.
How to apply furniture vinyl wrap
The supplier says to apply it to a clean, dry, smooth surface. The back has a protective paper with a printed scale, which helps with measuring and cutting. Measure the surface, cut the vinyl slightly larger, peel the paper from a corner and lay the vinyl down bit by bit, smoothing with a squeegee to push the air out. Do not peel off all the paper at once.
An honest tip: when an adhesive is peeled off, some paint or varnish may come away, especially on recently painted furniture.
Five pearlescent colours: pink, black, grey, champagne, white
Five colours are available: pearlescent pink, pearlescent black, pearlescent grey, pearlescent champagne and pearlescent white. In the photos the surface is very glossy and reflects the light. Champagne is a light beige with a golden sheen.
The supplier’s photos also show other colours, such as orange, violet, red, green and blue: they are not available. The colour may look different on screen. The supplier advises buying all the rolls together, to avoid colour differences between batches.
Where to use pearlescent furniture vinyl wrap
The supplier lists it for walls, cupboards, drawers, worktops, bookcases, shelves and pantry. In the photos it is applied to kitchen doors, to a wardrobe with sliding doors and to a bathroom cabinet.
The supplier gives no data on how it behaves with heat, water and grease: on a kitchen worktop or near the hob, judge with care and use a trivet. A glossy finish shows fingerprints and dust more easily, and also the flaws in the surface underneath: apply the vinyl to a very smooth base.

How much vinyl do I need for the doors of a cupboard?
Measure the height and width of each door. The roll is 40 cm wide: a wider door needs two strips side by side. For example, a door of 40 × 100 cm needs a 1 m roll, which is 0.4 m². Add a few centimetres to trim the edges and order everything together, so the rolls come from the same batch.
Is the finish glossy or matt?
It is glossy, with a pearlescent sheen: in the supplier’s photos the surface clearly reflects the light. If you want a matt finish, this is not the right product. A glossy finish shows fingerprints and dust more easily, and also the flaws in the surface underneath: apply it to a smooth base.
Can it be used in the kitchen?
The supplier lists it for the kitchen too, but gives no data on how it behaves with heat, water or grease, so we cannot guarantee it. On worktops use a trivet, avoid hot pans and dry liquids straight away. Before applying it, clean grease and dust off the surface thoroughly.
How do I cut the vinyl?
The back has a printed scale that helps with measuring and cutting, as one of the supplier’s photos shows. Measure, mark on the back and cut with scissors or with a craft knife and a ruler, leaving a few centimetres extra. After fitting it, trim the excess and keep your fingers away from the blade.
Can it be removed without damaging the furniture?
The supplier does not describe how to remove it or guarantee that no residue is left. As with any adhesive, when peeled off it may take some paint or varnish with it, or leave residue, especially on recently painted surfaces. Test in a hidden corner before covering a whole piece of furniture.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.
