Flexible self-adhesive moulding: size and material
Each roll contains one strip, 2 metres long and 4 cm wide, made of PVC. The 4 cm is the width of the strip when open, before folding. The supplier does not state the thickness, so we have not included it. The wood-effect finishes have a printed grain: it is not wood.
To work out how many rolls you need, measure the length you want to finish and divide it by 2. A 2.5 m high corner needs two rolls, or one roll and a piece of a second one. For the perimeter of a 4 × 3 metre room, which is 14 metres, you need 7 rolls. Leave a few centimetres spare to trim the ends.
How to apply the self-adhesive moulding
The strip is self-adhesive, and the supplier shows it being cut to size and folded. Before applying it, clean and dry the surface, as the adhesive grips well on a smooth base free of dust and moisture. Cut the length you need with scissors, peel the protection off the red strips slowly, and press the strip while folding it along the central line.
Do a trial fit without removing the protection, to check the length and the fold. Then press firmly with your fingers, from the centre towards the ends, and go over it again after a few minutes. An honest tip: a strong adhesive can take some paint or varnish with it when removed, so test first in an inconspicuous spot.
Ten colours: plain and wood effect
The plain colours are black, white and dark grey. The wood-effect finishes are grey wood effect, yellow oak effect, maple effect, natural wood effect, black walnut effect and brown wood effect, plus a greyish brown. In the photos the rolls are shown rolled up and partly unrolled, with the red back visible.
The real colour may differ slightly from the photos, due to light and screens. If you need to match it with a skirting board, a floor or a piece of furniture, choose the colour carefully. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering: we will help you choose. If you need more rolls, order them all together.
Where to use the flexible self-adhesive moulding
The supplier lists three uses: a transition between floor and wall, an external corner and an internal corner. In the photos, it runs along the base of a wall above a parquet floor and over a wooden corner. It is a finishing trim: it covers the joint, but does not protect against knocks.
The surface must be smooth and clean. On a rough or dusty base, the adhesive grips less, and on a very uneven corner the strip may not stick well. In a bathroom or near water sources, check from time to time that the ends are still firmly stuck.

Frequently asked questions
How many rolls do I need for a corner or a room?
Each roll is 2 m long. Divide the length you want to finish by 2 and round up: for a 2.5 m high corner you need 2 rolls, and for the perimeter of a 4 × 3 metre room, 7. Add a few centimetres to trim the ends without waste.
Can it be cut and folded?
Yes. The supplier shows the strip cut to size with scissors and folded at an angle. Do a trial fit without removing the adhesive protection, to check the length and the fold point. For clean cuts, use a sharp craft knife and a metal ruler.
Which surfaces is it applied to?
On smooth, clean and dry surfaces, such as a wall, a skirting board or the edge of a piece of furniture. On a rough, dusty or damp surface, the adhesive grips less. If the wall has just been painted, wait a few days and test a short piece before applying the full length.
Can it be removed without leaving marks?
We cannot guarantee it. A strong adhesive can take some paint or varnish with it, or leave residue, especially on surfaces treated recently. To remove it, start from one end and pull slowly. If the surface is delicate, test first in a hidden spot.
Does it protect the corner from knocks?
No, it is not presented as protection. It is a decorative finish that covers the join and leaves the corner tidier. If you are looking for a corner guard against knocks, it is better to choose a product designed for that, with suitable thickness and rigidity.
When will my order arrive?
