Self-adhesive moulding: size and material
The pack contains 1 moulding, 230 cm long, 8 cm wide and 4 mm thick. The material is XPE foam, which the supplier describes as soft and elastic. The surface has a raised pattern of flowers and leaves that creates a three-dimensional effect, but it is still foam: it is not metal, wood or plaster.
One piece covers 2.3 linear metres. For 10 metres you need 5 pieces, rounding up. Add a few centimetres of margin for corner cuts, and measure carefully, as the supplier notes that measurements are taken by hand and may vary slightly.
How to apply the self-adhesive moulding
The back has an adhesive layer protected by paper: the beige side shows in the photos. Wipe the dust off the wall, peel off the protective paper and press the moulding against the wall. The supplier says no extra glue or holes are needed. For an inside corner, bend the moulding inwards; for a projecting corner, bend it outwards. For a mitred corner, cut at 45°, as the photos show.
Before sticking, draw a pencil line with a spirit level and peel the paper back a few centimetres at a time. An honest tip: a strong adhesive can take some paint off when you remove it. Test on an inconspicuous spot and do not apply it to a freshly painted wall.
Five colours and a floral relief
The colours are five: brown, grey, gold, dark gold and ivory white. In the photos the brown has a coppery tone, the grey a silvery sheen, the gold is a pale yellow and the dark gold, more intense, leans towards orange. Ivory white is a cream colour with ochre tints. The relief is the same in every colour.
A moulding in the same tone as the wall is discreet; a contrasting one, for example dark on a light wall, draws a clearly visible strip. Real colours may differ a little from the photos, because of your screen and the light in the room.
Where to use the decorative self-adhesive moulding
The supplier lists walls, door frames, walkways, staircases, the wall behind the television, tall furniture, ceilings, corridors, the wall behind a sofa and windows, in the home, office or hotel. The photos show it as a strip along the lower part of a wall, next to two doors and in a living room with boiserie-style panelling. Ceiling use is mentioned in the description but is not shown in the photos.
It is a decorative element: 4 mm of soft foam does not replace a plaster or wooden moulding. In the corner with the ceiling, press along the whole length, on a clean, dry surface.

Frequently asked questions
How many pieces do I need for a room?
One piece is 230 cm long. Measure the total length you want to cover, divide it by 2.3 and round up: for 10 metres you need 5 pieces. Add a few centimetres of margin for the 45° cuts at the corners. If the wall is long, measure each side: that way you know how many whole pieces and how many cuts you need.
Can it be used on a projecting corner?
Yes. In the supplier's photos, the moulding bends inwards for an inside corner and outwards for a projecting corner. It is 8 cm wide when laid flat. The supplier does not give the measurements of the two sides after bending, so check that the strip sits well on the corner.
How do I make a mitred corner?
The supplier's photos show a 45° cut on two pieces that meet at a corner, as in a picture frame. Mark the cut with a pencil, use a sharp craft knife and a ruler, and test both pieces before peeling off the protective paper from the back.
Does it come off without damaging the wall?
The supplier does not say whether the moulding can be removed: the adhesive is designed to stay put. When you peel it off, it can take some paint with it or leave residue, especially on recently painted walls. We therefore advise testing first on an inconspicuous spot.
What is the difference between gold and dark gold?
In the photos, gold is a pale yellow, while dark gold is more intense and leans towards orange. The relief is identical. The real colour may vary a little with your screen and the light in the room: if in doubt, choose according to the tone of the wall where you will apply it.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.
Can I return the product?
Yes: you have 30 days from delivery to return the unused product in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. All the details are in the return policy.
