Brick effect 3D wall panels: size and material

Each panel measures 30 × 30 cm and is 0.3 cm thick, that is, 3 mm. The stated material is PVC foam, with a raised 3D surface that imitates brick, stone or wood. One panel covers 0.09 m²: the pack of 5 covers 0.45 m² and the pack of 10 covers 0.9 m², not counting cuts. The panels are square and all the same size. The supplier does not give the weight.

How to fit the brick effect wall panels

The supplier recommends a smooth wall: wipe off the dust with a cloth and let it dry before sticking. Then peel off the paper from the back, place the panel and press it with your hand for a minute or two. The panels can be cut to fit the last row: use a sharp craft knife and a ruler. A supplier infographic lists suitable surfaces as tiles, glass, acrylic, mirror, painted plasterboard, steel and laminate. It advises against brick or stone walls, unpainted plasterboard, filler, plywood, the inside of a shower and greasy walls. An honest tip: a strong adhesive may take some paint with it when peeled off.

Thirteen models: brick, stone and wood

The models are 501, 502, 504, 512, 514, 517, 524, 526, 527, 528, 550, 565 and 566. In the photos of each variant, model 524 has red and brown bricks, model 566 red-orange, model 565 orange, ochre and red, model 517 orange and ochre with light joints, and model 527 white and red. Model 512 is dark grey, model 504 grey and beige, model 501 is light grey stone, model 550 is blue, violet and grey stone, and model 528 has light marbled blocks. Three models imitate wood: model 526 brown, model 502 light with knots and model 514 with mixed planks. They are printed patterns that imitate the material, not real brick, stone or wood.

Where to use the brick effect wall panels

The supplier suggests them for offices, studies, living rooms, behind the TV, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and children's rooms. The photos show them behind a bench, along a staircase with shelves and plants and behind a desk with a lamp. The raised surface changes appearance with the light, so the colour may look lighter or darker through the day. Avoid areas in direct contact with water or heat: the infographic advises against the inside of a shower, and we have no data on how they behave with heat.

How many panels do I need for 2 m² of wall?

One panel covers 0.09 m², so for 2 m² you need about 23 panels. You can order 3 packs of 10, which cover 2.7 m², or 5 packs of 5, which cover 2.25 m². Add a few extra pieces for cuts and for fitting mistakes. All the panels in one variant are the same model.

Can I mix different models?

Each variant contains panels of one model only. To mix, for example, a red brick and a grey one, order two packs of different models, even if they are packs of 5. Look at the photos of each model before choosing: brick, stone and wood have very different colours.

Can they be cut?

Yes, the supplier states that the panels can be cut to size. For a clean cut, use a sharp craft knife and a metal ruler, and cut slowly in several passes. It is useful for the last row, around corners, sockets or switches. Test on a spare piece.

Can they be peeled off without damaging the wall?

When peeled off they may take some paint with them or leave residue, especially on walls painted recently. If you want to be able to change your mind, test one panel first in a hidden spot and leave it for a few days before you decide.

What is the difference between 5 and 10 pieces?

Only the quantity. The model, the 30 × 30 cm size and the 3 mm thickness are the same. A pack of 5 covers 0.45 m² and a pack of 10 covers 0.9 m². Choose according to the area you want to cover, and bear in mind that the total goes up with the quantity.

When will my order arrive?
