A pack contains 72 identical panels, all of the same colour. Each panel measures 30 × 30 cm and reaches 2.5 cm thick at the highest points of the wedge, that is, the rows of parallel triangular teeth. The material is foam, which the supplier also calls sponge. One panel covers 0.09 m², so 72 panels cover about 6.48 m²: a fairly large wall, or several small walls. The supplier does not state the weight.

How to prepare and fix the panels

The foam arrives compressed and vacuum-packed and may be deformed. The supplier explains how to restore it: open the bag, soak the panel in water for 1 minute, wring it out and dry it with a hairdryer or in a tumble dryer on a medium setting for 10-15 minutes. The close-up shows the soft, porous surface. The supplier does not mention adhesives: use a glue suitable for foam or double-sided tape, on a clean, dry wall. An honest tip: a strong adhesive can take some paint off when removed. Cut the foam with a sharp craft knife.

Black, blue, red or purple: choose your colour

Four colours are available: black, blue, red and purple. Each pack holds 72 panels of a single colour, so for a two-colour arrangement you need two packs. Black is a neutral tone. Blue, red and purple are solid, even tones, as the photos on a white background show: they suit one wall or a strip better than a whole room. The colour may look slightly different on your screen.

Where to use acoustic foam wedge panels

At 6.5 m², one pack is enough for a wall in a living room, a home office or a meeting room: rooms with many hard surfaces, where sound bounces and creates echo. The foam absorbs part of those reflections. In the photos the panels are shown alone on a white background, including blue, red and purple: no photo shows a wall fitted. One important point: a sound-absorbing panel reduces echo inside the room, but it does not stop noise from outside. To reduce noise from neighbours or the street, other materials and building work are needed.

Why do they arrive squashed, and how do I restore their shape?

The foam is compressed and vacuum-sealed for shipping, which is why it can arrive deformed. The supplier advises opening the bag, soaking the panel in water for 1 minute, wringing it out and drying it with a hairdryer or in a tumble dryer on a medium setting for 10-15 minutes. Let it dry completely before fixing it.

How do I fix them to the wall?
