Frequently asked questions
Can you get personalised sticker quotes for the wall?
Not in this collection: each design has a fixed text, and you cannot change the words, language or font. You can, however, choose where and how to arrange the pieces, especially with the 2-piece designs or sets. Before you order, look closely at the photos on the product page, because the text you receive is the one shown there, and compare the dimensions with the wall you have in mind.
Which surfaces can you stick sticker quotes on?
Generally on smooth, clean surfaces: painted and fully dry walls, smooth tiles, lacquered furniture doors, glass. On rough plaster, exposed stone or walls with embossed wallpaper, the letters touch little surface and tend to peel off. Also avoid damp walls, spots close to radiators and the wall behind the hob in the kitchen, where heat softens the adhesive.
Which quotes should you put on the living room wall?
A short quote is better, one that can be read easily from the sofa even from a few metres away. In the living room, a quote about the home or an inspirational quote works well. In this collection you will find the quote about the home in 2 pieces and an inspirational quote in English, also in 2 pieces.
At what height should you put a quote on the wall?
On a free wall the centre of the quote goes roughly at eye level, around 150 cm from the floor. Above a piece of furniture, the furniture is what counts: leave 20-30 cm above the back of the sofa or the headboard, so the quote does not look squashed. Before sticking it, mark the position with masking tape and look at it from a distance.
What should you do if the letters stay stuck to the backing paper?
Lay the backing paper back down and rub firmly with the plastic card over the clear sheet, going over the letters that have stayed behind. Wait a couple of minutes and try again, peeling off the backing paper and not the clear sheet, at a very shallow angle. If it is cold, a quick pass with a warm hairdryer helps the smaller letters transfer to the sheet.
