Soft self-adhesive moulding: size and material
The moulding is 26 mm wide, as the cross-section drawing of the profile in the supplier's photos shows. The material is soft PVC, which bends freely to follow corners and curves. The length is 1 m or 2 m, depending on the variant you choose. The supplier does not give the thickness or the height of the relief.
The surface has a floral pattern in relief, with leaves and scrolls. In the all-white version the relief is white on white; in the other versions the floral decoration is gold or silver on a white background, or the whole moulding is gold or silver.
How to apply the self-adhesive moulding
The supplier's instructions give four steps: cut the length you need, remove the film from the back, press the moulding along the marked route and press firmly at the marked point, then check that it is fixed. Scissors are enough for cutting. Before you start, clean and dry the surface, which should be smooth, and mark the route in pencil with a spirit level.
Do not remove all the film at once: free one section at a time while you press. An honest tip: an adhesive can take some paint off when you peel it. If you are unsure, test on a less visible section.
White, silver, gold or white with decoration: choose the look
The all-white version has its relief in the same colour as the background, so it only creates light and shadow and looks more subdued. White versions with gold or silver decoration highlight the floral details in the colour of the decoration. The all-silver and all-gold versions have the whole moulding in one colour, with a bolder look; in the photos the “All gold” version is a dark gold, leaning towards ochre, darker than the gold decoration on white.
The colour can change on screen and with light: gold and silver look different depending on the angle you view them from.
Where to use the decorative self-adhesive moulding
The supplier suggests it for the ceiling, along the edge where the wall meets the ceiling: this is shown by the product name, not by the photos. In its images it is also shown around a framed picture on the wall, along the edge of a mirror, along the base of a piece of furniture, around a door frame and along the edge of a display cabinet.
Choose smooth, clean, dry surfaces and fit the moulding after you have finished painting: over fresh paint, dust or rough plaster the adhesive may grip less. On the ceiling, check in the days after fitting that the moulding is still firmly stuck, especially near windows or damp spots.

Frequently asked questions
How much moulding do I need?
Measure the perimeter you want to decorate and add a little margin for cuts and corners. For example, around a mirror of 60 × 80 cm you need 2.8 m: order at least three pieces of 1 m, all in the same variant.
Can it be cut and bent for corners and curves?
The material is soft PVC and it bends freely. The supplier shows cutting with scissors. Use sharp blades or scissors, and try first on a spare piece. At corners, check a 45° cut by holding the two pieces together without removing the film, and stick only when they fit.
Which surfaces does it stick to?
The supplier does not list surfaces. In its images the moulding is applied around a framed picture on the wall, a mirror, a piece of furniture, a door frame and a display cabinet. In general the adhesive grips better on smooth, clean, dry surfaces; on rough plaster, fresh paint, dust or damp it may grip less. Test on a less visible section.
Can it be removed without damaging the wall?
We cannot guarantee it. Like any adhesive, it can take some paint off or leave residue, especially on recently painted walls. To limit the risk, test first on a less visible section and, if you need to remove it, pull slowly, starting from one end.
How do I clean it?
Use a soft, dry or barely damp cloth, wiping gently over the relief. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh products, which could damage the gold or silver parts of the decoration. The supplier gives no cleaning instructions: this is general advice.
