Wood effect vinyl wrap: sizes and material
You receive one roll in the format you choose. The widths are two, 40 and 55 cm, and the available formats are five: 40 × 100, 40 × 200, 40 × 500, 55 × 200 and 55 × 500 cm. The covered surfaces are 0.4 m², 0.8 m², 2 m², 1.1 m² and 2.75 m². The material is vinyl (PVC) with a self-adhesive back.
The supplier does not state the thickness, so we do not write it. Measure the surface before ordering and choose a format a few centimetres larger: the edges are trimmed when you finish fitting.
How to apply the self-adhesive vinyl
The back is self-adhesive and covered by a white protective sheet with a printed grid, visible in the detail photo. To fit it, remove the protection and place the vinyl on the surface. The grid can serve as a guide for marking the cut.
Clean and dry the surface well before you start. Peel off the protection slowly and press with a soft spatula from the centre towards the edges to remove bubbles. An honest tip: the adhesive is made to stay, so on fresh paint or rough surfaces it may not hold, and when you remove the vinyl it may take some paint or leave residue.
Wood effect vinyl in light beige: the look on furniture
Only one colour is sold, light beige, with a grain running along the roll and some darker marks that resemble the pores of wood. It is a printed effect, not real wood. The photos show it on a kitchen worktop, the doors of a kitchen, the doors of a wardrobe and the top of a dining table.
The supplier warns that the real colour may vary with the light in the room and advises ordering the full amount you need at once, to avoid differences in tone between one batch and another. If the surface is wider than the roll, you will need to join several strips.
Where to use self-adhesive wood effect vinyl
The supplier suggests it for home use and for offices and shops: living room, bedroom, study, kitchen and children's room. The photos show it on wardrobe doors, on kitchen doors and worktops, and on a dining table.
Covering a unit or a worktop only changes the look of the surface. The supplier does not state heat resistance: keep hot pans away from the worktop or use a trivet. To clean, use a soft, slightly damp cloth, without abrasive products. To trim the edges, a sharp craft knife and a metal ruler are usually enough. The most suitable surfaces are smooth ones: on a door with raised panels or routed areas, the vinyl would follow the shape.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right format?
Measure the width and length of the surface and choose a format a few centimetres larger. The rolls are 40 or 55 cm wide: a 40 × 100 cm roll covers 0.4 m² and a 55 × 500 cm roll covers 2.75 m². If the surface is wider than the roll, you need several strips side by side, with a small join.
Can it be used in the kitchen?
The supplier lists the kitchen among the rooms of use, and the photos show a worktop and kitchen doors covered. But it does not state resistance to heat, steam or strong detergents, so we cannot promise anything: keep hot pans and hobs away from the vinyl.
Will the colour be identical to the photos?
It may differ a little. The supplier warns that the tone changes with the light in the room and with the screen, and that different batches may have slightly different shades. That is why it is best to order all the metres you need at once, rather than adding a second roll later.
Can it be removed after fitting?
The supplier gives no removal guidance. The adhesive is made to stay: when you remove the vinyl it may take some paint with it or leave residue, especially on walls painted recently. If in doubt, test in a less visible corner before covering the whole piece of furniture.
How do I avoid air bubbles?
Clean and dry the surface well, and remove the protection slowly, not all at once. Press with a soft spatula or a cloth, starting from the centre and pushing towards the edges. If a small bubble remains, you can usually push it towards the nearest edge. Work calmly and with two people on the long formats.
When will my order arrive?
Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.
Can I return the product?
Yes: you have 30 days from delivery to return the unused product in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. All the details are in the return policy.
How can I pay?
You pay the full amount when you order, with the payment methods offered at checkout. We do not offer instalments or cash on delivery.
