Roll of white pearl moulding, 12 mm wide, 3 m long

Pearl self-adhesive moulding: dimensions and material

Each order contains one roll of pearl moulding, 3 m long, made of plastic: a row of round pearls on a flexible band. You can choose a width of 12 mm or 15 mm. For the 15 mm version the supplier also gives a profile height of 7.8 mm; for the 12 mm version this figure is not given. The colour in the photos is white. The supplier does not state the weight. With 3 m you can cover an edge of up to 3 metres; if the run is longer, order more rolls.

How to apply self-adhesive pearl moulding

The supplier's illustrated instructions give these steps: clean and dry the surface, measure the length you need, cut, position the moulding with its adhesive and press firmly after removing the red film. It is best to peel off the film slowly and press as you go. For an accurate edge, first mark the route in pencil. To cut, use strong scissors or a craft knife, and test on one end first. An honest tip: a strong adhesive may take some paint with it when peeled off.

12 or 15 mm: choose the width of the moulding

The shape is the same in both versions: white round pearls in a row. Only the width changes, that is, the size of the pearls: 12 mm is finer and more discreet, 15 mm is more eye-catching and has a profile height of 7.8 mm. For a small frame or the outline of a mirror the finer version may be enough; for a skirting board or a large edge, the 15 mm width shows more. The band is flexible: in the photos it appears rolled into a spiral. The real colour may be slightly different from the photos.

Where to use the decorative moulding

The supplier's photos show it around a bathroom mirror, at the joint between a worktop and the wall, next to a sink, around a picture and along the skirting board. You can also use it to finish the edge of a frame, a piece of furniture or a panel. The supplier gives no verifiable data on how it behaves with water or steam: in the kitchen or bathroom, clean and dry the surface well before fitting, and check the grip over the following days.

Frequently asked questions

How long and how wide is the moulding?

The roll is 3 m long. The width depends on the version: 12 mm or 15 mm. For the 15 mm version the supplier also gives a profile height of 7.8 mm. For the 12 mm version this figure is not given, so we cannot tell you its height.

How is pearl moulding cut?

The supplier says to cut to the length needed but does not specify a tool. In general, strong scissors or a sharp craft knife will do. Before cutting the final length, measure twice and test on one end, because a badly cut pearl shows.

Can it be used around a mirror?

Yes: in the supplier's photos it is fitted around a bathroom mirror. Clean and dry the edge well, mark the route in pencil and press as you go. The supplier does not state the minimum radius of curves: if you need to follow a tight angle, test on a piece first.

Can I use it in the kitchen or bathroom?

The photos show it next to a sink and a bathroom mirror. The supplier gives no verifiable data on how it behaves with water or steam. Before fitting, clean and dry the surface, and over the following days check that the adhesive is still firmly stuck.

Does it come off without damaging the wall?

The supplier does not say. A strong adhesive may take some paint with it when peeled off. If you are unsure, fit a short piece first in a less visible spot and check it. Over paint that has recently been applied, wait a few days before fitting.

When will my order arrive?

Delivery takes 7 to 15 business days after payment; you receive the tracking number by email. The maximum delivery time is 15 business days: if it is not met, you can cancel the order and get a full refund.

Can I return the product?

Yes: you have 30 days from delivery to return the unused product in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. All the details are in the return policy.

How can I pay?

You pay the full amount when you order, with the payment methods offered at checkout. We do not offer instalments or cash on delivery.
