Mountain and forest wall stickers: dimensions and material

The sheet you receive measures 30 cm high and 60 cm wide. On the sheet you can see the mountains, pines of different heights, two groups of upside-down pines and the ground line, all in black. Assembled as in the images, the landscape measures about 71.4 cm wide and 28.7 cm high: it is wider than the sheet, so the pieces are not arranged as printed but peeled off and placed side by side. The material is matt translucent PVC: the supplier advises fitting it on a single-colour wall.

How to fit the mountain wall sticker

The back is adhesive: you peel the pieces off the carrier and rest them on the wall. The supplier states that the surface must be smooth and clean, free of dirt and rough areas, or the adhesive may come away. Before you start, measure the space, about 71 × 29 cm, and draw a level line in pencil. We suggest testing the arrangement with masking tape, starting with the mountains and adding the pines at the sides.

A candid tip: when removing it, a wall painted recently or with delicate paint may lose some colour.

Black silhouette: how it looks on the wall

The sticker is all black, with no gradients: the design reads as a shadow, with the pointed peaks of the mountains, tall pines in the centre and small woods at the sides. The contrast is stronger on a light or beige wall, as in the photos; on a dark wall the black is harder to see. Because the PVC is translucent, the colour behind it affects the result. The design is a single model: there are no other colours or patterns.

Where to use the mountain and pine wall stickers

The supplier lists it for children’s rooms, bedrooms, play rooms and living rooms. The photos show it above a bed headboard and above a sofa, but among the listed surfaces there are also windows, glass and furniture.

What size is the sticker once assembled?

Assembled as in the photos, the landscape measures about 71.4 cm wide and 28.7 cm high. The sheet you receive is smaller, 30 × 60 cm, because the pieces are peeled off and placed side by side. Before ordering, measure the wall space: you need at least 71 cm of width.

How many sheets do I receive, and what colour?

You receive a single 30 × 60 cm sheet, entirely black. It is one design only, with no other colours or patterns. The supplier does not say how many pieces the sheet is divided into: the visible elements are mountains, pines of different heights and the ground line.

Can it go on a dark wall?

Yes, but the result changes. The PVC is translucent and the design is black: on a light or beige wall, as in the photos, the silhouette shows well; on a dark background or one with patterns it is harder to see. The supplier advises a single-colour wall.

Does it come off without damaging the paint?

The supplier says it can be removed, but we cannot guarantee that no mark will be left: it depends on the wall and the paint. To remove it, lift a corner and pull slowly. On recent or delicate paint some colour may come away, so test first in a hidden spot.

Can it be put on a window or a glass pane?

The supplier lists windows and glass among the surfaces, as well as walls and furniture. The same rule applies: a smooth, clean surface. On glass the background is what is behind it, so the black will look more or less contrasting depending on the light and the surroundings.
