Clean the glass well and measure the area you want to cover. Cut the film with a craft knife and a ruler, leaving 1 or 2 cm extra on each side, and trim it once it is in place. Static cling films are usually applied to glass freshly sprayed with water: press from the centre towards the edges with a soft spatula to push out air bubbles. If you use several strips, work on one at a time.
