A sheet measures 30 × 30 cm and is 3 mm thick; the material is PVC, with a matt surface. Each sheet has nine squares in three rows of three, and each measures about 9.5 cm a side: the joints are part of the sheet. The supplier states that 10 sheets cover 0.9 m², that is, 5 sheets about 0.45 m². Allow 10% extra for cuts and order all the sheets together: the supplier advises taking them from the same batch, to avoid slight differences in tone.

How to fit the peel and stick wall panels

Under the film on the back is the adhesive layer. The supplier advises cleaning and drying the wall well, planning the layout, removing the film and placing the sheets side by side. Then press them with a plastic spatula, especially along the joints and in the recessed areas. After 24 hours it is advisable to press the joints again; the grip is complete after about 48 hours. On a newly painted wall, the supplier suggests waiting up to three weeks. The sheets are cut with a utility knife or scissors. An honest tip: when peeled off, the adhesive can take some paint with it.

Sky blue, light pink, greyish white or green

There are four colour variants, and only the colour changes: the nine-square design is the same. In the photos the sky blue is a medium tone, the green is a light sage green, and the light pink and greyish white are soft. Each square has a slight relief and its own shade, with a glazed tile effect. The supplier warns that colour on screen may look a little different from the real thing. Each set contains one colour only: to alternate tones, you need several sets.

Where to use 3D wall panels: kitchen, utility room and living room

The supplier suggests them for living room, TV wall, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, utility room, hallway and study. The photos show a kitchen splashback and the wall of a utility room. Smooth, clean and dry surfaces are needed: suitable ones include smooth paint, smooth ceramic tile, glass, metal and wood. Unpainted plasterboard, orange peel walls, brick, stone, rough render and greasy walls are advised against. They should not be used outdoors, on floors or in the shower. Near hobs, keep the sheets 30 cm from the centre of the hob.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1004/7435/6045/files/S5f6917be090142e1b172ddfbd94c199a9_d9818899-7511-4847-92f3-c103fd2be639.webp?v=1793447295
3d-wall-panel-square-pvc-self-adhesive
3D wall panel, square, PVC, self-adhesive

Square self-adhesive sheets measuring 30 × 30 cm and about 2.5 mm thick, with 25 raised squares separated by fine joints. Each sheet measures 30 × 30 cm and is divided into 25 squares of 5.5 cm, separated by joints: the effect is that of a wall of square tiles. The thickness is about 2.5 mm, as the supplier states; the supplier listing gives 0.3 cm. The material is PVC with EVA, and the surface is matt. Ten sheets cover about 0.9 m² and five about 0.45 m².

How to fit the self-adhesive panels

Clean and dry the wall well. The supplier lists smooth surfaces as suitable, for example smooth paint, ceramic tile, glass, acrylic panel, metal and wood, and advises against unpainted plaster, orange peel walls, brick, stone, stucco and greasy walls. If the paint is recent, wait up to three weeks. Plan the layout, cut the sheets with a utility knife or scissors, remove the film and stick the sheets side by side, as on the red splashback in the photo. Press with a plastic spatula, especially along the joints, and go over them again after 24 hours. The photo shows the red sheet on a white background, with small variations of tone between the squares. The mint green is a light, muted green; the green is more intense, the beige is light and the blue is dark. There are two quantities: 5 or 10 sheets, and each set has one colour only. To mix two colours, choose two variants. On screen the colour may look a little different, and the supplier advises ordering all the sheets you need together, so they arrive from the same batch.

Where to use 3D wall panels

The supplier lists them for living room, TV wall, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, utility room, hallway and study. In the photo, the mint green covers the wall behind a kitchen sink; other photos in the gallery show a bathroom, a space under the stairs and a dining room. Keep 30 cm from the centre of hobs and fireplaces. The supplier advises against them in the shower, where they would be in direct contact with water, outdoors and on floors. To cover a whole wall, start from a corner or from the centre, with a pencil line drawn using a level, so the joints run straight.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1004/7435/6045/files/Sc108b344e0ba41fdb2265afbbe60e347X.webp?v=1793448184
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1004/7435/6045/collections/Sc108b344e0ba41fdb2265afbbe60e347X.webp?v=1793438533
